The part of Mineral Wells in Parker County, the Mineral Wells State Park, the Mineral Wells Airport and the City of Millsap are not included in ESD7. The city of Mineral Wells provides emergency services for all of the city, the State Park and the airport.<\/p>\n
ESD7 contracts with Greenwood Rural VFD, Millsap Fire & Rescue VFD and Cool-Garner VFD to provide Fire and EMS services for the District. The city of Millsap contracts with the Millsap Fire and Rescue VFD for their Emergency Services.<\/p>\n
ESD7 is a combination department with both volunteers and part-time paid firefighters. To provide improved service during daytime hours, when volunteers are working, the District has paid firefighters at each VFD from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n
In calendar year 2018 ESD7 received 959 calls for Fire \/ EMS services. This was a 34% increase over 2017 and the second highest of the 6 Parker County ESDs. In calendar year 2019, the call volume was 1,017, a 6% increase over 2018.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t
